Recently, the Jiangsu Provincial Department of Industry and Information Technology issued a notice on the issuance of the "Jiangsu Province key New Materials first batch Application demonstration guidance Catalog (2024 Edition)", rapidly promoting the innovation and application of the province's new materials industry.


First, advanced basic materials


Covers advanced iron and steel materials, advanced non-ferrous metal materials, advanced chemical new materials, advanced inorganic non-metallic materials. Among them, the new chemical materials include the following categories:


1. Special rubber and other polymer materials: Polyether ether ketone, phenylethylene (TPE) elastomer, perfluoroether rubber (FFKM)


2. Engineering plastics: low loss electronic grade olefin hydrocarbon oligomer resin, fusible polytetrafluoroethylene (PFA), nylon cable material (PA12), long life and high voltage halogen-free flame retardant polyamide material for new energy, crosslinked ethylene tetrafluoroethylene material (XETFE), PEEK monofilament


3. Membrane materials: ultra-thin (1-2 μ m) polyimide film, silicon carbide film, transparent silicon oxide high barrier film, high-end reverse osmosis film and components, microprism reflective film, zero energy consumption radiation cooling film.


4. Other advanced chemical materials: biomass furan dicarboxylic acid (FDCA), 5-hydroxymethyl furfural (HMF), wear-resistant and lubricating coating materials, epoxy adhesive for prefabricated segment assembly, polyester composite imitation animal hair fiber, ceramic water paint.


* it is worth mentioning that the advanced inorganic non-metallic materials in part I of the catalogue contain the recently hot basalt fiber reinforced composite (BFRP) grid.


Second, key strategic materials


It covers high-performance fibers and their composites, rare earth functional materials, advanced semiconductor materials and new display materials, new energy materials, biomedical and biodegradable materials, and other key strategic materials. The details are as follows:


1. High performance fiber and its composites focus carbon fiber and other composite materials: aerospace grade high performance ZT9H carbon fiber, high performance continuous alumina fiber, lightweight high performance fiber molding materials, high performance carbon fiber * 2, high performance fiber reinforced composites, high strength and high model carbon fiber, high strength medium mold carbon fiber prepreg for civil aircraft, high performance carbon fiber prepreg for UAV, carbon fiber composites for rail transit, Carbon fiber three-dimensional fabric

It mainly includes a new generation of TFN nanocomposite thin film special film material, graphene composite conductive paste SY10E/ powder, graphite high thermal conductivity film, the second generation of high temperature (YBCO) superconducting materials and so on.


In mid-2024, nine departments, including the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology and the National Development and Reform Commission, recently jointly issued the implementation Plan for Innovation and Development of Fine Chemical Industry (2024-2027).
