Recently, the launching meeting of the central enterprise green hydrogen energy production, transportation and transportation innovation consortium, guided by the State-owned Assets Supervision and Administration Commission of the State Council and co-sponsored by Sinopec and National Energy Group, was held in Beijing. At the conference, the central enterprise green hydrogen energy production, transportation and transportation innovation consortium was formally established. Ma Yongsheng, Chairman of Sinopec and Academician of the Chinese Academy of Engineering, and Liu Guoyue, Chairman of National Energy Group, delivered speeches on behalf of the leading units.

It is reported that the Central Enterprise Green Hydrogen Energy Manufacturing, Transportation and Transportation Innovation Consortium was jointly established by nearly 80 units under the guidance of the State-owned Assets Supervision and Administration Commission of the State Council, led by Sinopec and National Energy Group. The Innovation Consortium will be committed to building a good ecosystem for the integration of industry, academia and research led by central enterprises and the integration of large and medium-sized enterprises, continue to improve the operating mechanism, gather superior scientific research forces, strengthen technological research, and achieve full-chain innovation from basic research to industrialization. Jointly promote the vigorous development of China's green hydrogen energy industry.

Ma Yongsheng said that as an important part of China's new energy system, hydrogen energy is not only a key development direction for emerging industries, but also an important carrier for traditional industries to achieve green and low-carbon transformation. Sinopec will work with the National Energy Group to fulfill its leading corporate responsibilities, strengthen cooperation with sister companies, universities and institutes, vigorously promote the construction of innovation consortiums, and ensure the excellent completion of various research tasks.

Liu Guoyue said that hydrogen energy has gradually become an important part of the energy revolution. National Energy Group attaches great importance to the development of the hydrogen energy industry, adheres to an open innovation ecosystem, and expands collaborative innovation around green hydrogen production and transfer, hydrogen energy storage and distribution, hydrogen-based raw materials and power, and hydrogen energy safety and testing.
