On August 22, the price of new orders in the coal tar market in East China rebounded. Most of the Luzhong region followed the auction of Laigang at 3920 yuan/ton, and the price rebounded slightly; however, the intention of southwestern Shandong region to increase by a large margin, waiting for the Linhuan auction in the afternoon. Although there is some room for rebound in the coal tar market, terminal demand has not improved significantly, and coke companies need to be cautious in adjusting the price increase.
