"The Measures cover traditional industries such as chemical industry and emerging industries such as new materials, and energy-saving and environmental protection equipment. They aim to further improve the green manufacturing system of Henan Province, accelerate the formation of a standardized and long-term cultivation mechanism, and create a leading force in green manufacturing." The relevant person in charge of the Department of Industry and Information Technology of Henan Province said.

The "Measures" clarify that the gradient cultivation of the green manufacturing system in Henan Province will establish an cultivation mechanism from the following two dimensions: vertically forming a green manufacturing cultivation mechanism at the national, provincial, municipal and county levels; Horizontal formation of green industrial parks to drive enterprises in the park to create green supply chains, green factories and green design products, and green supply chain management enterprises to drive upstream suppliers to create green factories and green design products.

According to reports, the gradient cultivation and management of the green manufacturing system is based on the cultivation of green factories and supported by the cultivation of green industrial parks, green supply chain management enterprises and green design products to promote the green and low-carbon transformation and upgrading of industries and regions. At the provincial level, we will continue to formulate policies related to green manufacturing, improve the evaluation standard system for green factories and green design products in some industries, and promote the "corporate green code" that reflects the green development level of green factories.

"The implementation of the Measures will effectively promote the construction and improvement of the green manufacturing system in Henan Province and improve the green level of manufacturing." Su Dong, executive vice president of the Petroleum and Chemical Industry Association of Henan Province, believes that chemistry and the chemical industry are both carbon emitters and solution to environmental problems. Green raw materials are the foundation of the green production process. The cultivation list includes 67 municipal-level key industrial chains, 104 key parks, and 462 key enterprises.

So far, Henan Province has cultivated 249 national-level green factories, 19 green industrial parks, and 34 green supply chain management companies; There are 498 provincial-level green factories, 33 green industrial parks, 57 green supply chain management companies, and 75 green design products.
