    Dong Wancheng further introduced that energy investment in the first half of the year mainly showed four characteristics. First, national energy investment maintained a rapid growth trend, and investment in new energy formats continued to expand. Investment in the eastern, central and western regions increased by 26.8%, 20.8%, and 10.7% respectively year-on-year. Second, investment in non-fossil energy power generation is growing well. Investment in solar power generation and onshore wind power continues to maintain double-digit growth, with an investment of approximately 430 billion yuan; distributed photovoltaics maintained rapid development, with investment increasing by 76.2% year-on-year. Third, investment in energy security continues to expand, investment in power supply and power grids maintains rapid growth, and a number of supporting regulatory power supply and key power grid projects have been fully constructed.
