On August 8, Guangdong Construction Engineering announced that recently, its subsidiariesGuangdong Yue Hydropower Energy Investment Group Co., Ltd. signed the "Strategic Cooperation Framework Agreement for the Integrated Project of Wind Power Hydrogen Production and Green Methanol" with the People's Government of Huanan County of Jiamusi City, Heilongjiang Province, Heilongjiang Hongzhan Biotechnology Co., Ltd. and Jiangsu Dafu Integrated Equipment Technology Co., Ltd., and plans to jointly develop an integrated project of wind power hydrogen production and green methanol synthesis in Huanan County.The total investment of the project is about 14 billion yuan, and it is planned to build a centralized wind power project and a green methanol project with an annual output of 500,000 tons.

Guangdong Hydropower Energy Group, Hongzhan Biotech or a designated unit of Hongzhan Biotech and Dafu Technology have established a wind power hydrogen production and green methanol integrated project company in Huanan County. As the main body of the project's investment, construction and operation management, it undertakes the specific rights and responsibilities of the project.

The 250,000-ton green methanol project is carried out simultaneously with the 0.85GW centralized wind power project, and in accordance with the national regulations and technical specifications for the preliminary work management of new energy projects such as wind power projects and alcohol-making integrated projects.

In order to support the development of the new energy industry, the People's Government of Huanan County fully supports the implementation of the application for approval of 20% of the green electricity generated by the wind power hydrogen production and green methanol integration project in Huanan County, Jiamusi City, and the remaining green electricity will be used for alcohol production and consumption in the project.
