Progress of Shaanxi Yuneng High-end Chemical New Materials Project

On August 3, Shaanxi Yuneng Fine Chemical Materials Co., Ltd. completed the formalities for the 1 million tons/year high-end chemical new materials project and successfully obtained the safety facility design review approval issued by the Shaanxi Province Emergency Management Department, marking a breakthrough in the project's start and filing work.

From July 29 to 30, the external review meeting for the basic design of the 1 million tons/year high-end chemical new materials project of Yuneng Fine Chemical Materials Co., Ltd. was held at the Beijing Petroleum and Chemical Industry Planning Institute.

On July 8, the opening meeting for the acrylic acid reactor system of the 1 million tons/year high-end chemical new materials project of Shaanxi Yuneng Fine Chemical Materials Co., Ltd. was held in Xi'an.

On June 30, the 1 million tons/year high-end chemical new materials project implemented by Shaanxi Yuneng Fine Chemical Materials Co., Ltd. was officially approved by the Environmental Assessment of the Department of Ecology and Environment of Shaanxi Province, marking that significant progress has been made in advancing the project.

The project and its subsequent investment is 10.315 billion yuan. It is located in the southern area of Qingshui Industrial Zone, Yushen Industrial Park, Yulin City, Shaanxi Province. The total land area is about 119 hm2. The land area for this construction is 98.4 hm2 and the reserved land is 20.6 hm2.

The project has begun site leveling in February 2024. At present, the dynamic compaction work has been completed, and the overall design and basic design work have been completed. It is planned to start foundation construction in September 2024, equipment installation in 2025, and completion in October 2026.

The main equipment and engineering of the project include 400,000 tons/year DMTA device, 200,000 tons/year ethylene oxide device, 200,000 tons/year polyether water reducing agent macromonomer, 400,000 tons/year polycarboxylic water reducing agent device, 250,000 tons/year hydrogen peroxide device (reduced to 27.5% concentration), 100,000 tons/year propylene oxide device, 80,000 tons/year acrylic acid device, 120,000 tons/year butyl acrylate device, 400,000 tons/year acrylate emulsion device and supporting public and auxiliary devices.
