China Coal has invested more than 18.5 billion yuan in key projects such as coal power, green chemicals and supporting new energy, and a number of chemical chain extensions and supplementary chains in the Tuk Green and Low-Carbon Industrial Park.

The 100,000-ton liquid sunshine project is the world's first large-scale industrialization demonstration project of liquid sunshine technology. The liquid sunshine project uses electricity generated by renewable energy such as solar energy and wind energy to electrolyze water to produce green hydrogen, and converts carbon dioxide generated in coal chemical production with green hydrogen into green methanol.

The China Coal Tuk Green and Low-Carbon Demonstration Park plan was jointly initiated and prepared by the Wushen Banner Government, Sulige Economic Development Zone and the company. It passed the review in May 2023 and was approved by the Ordos City Government in June 2024. The park plan is based on existing industries and in accordance with the principles of "efficient co-production, clean and low-carbon", builds an integrated network of "coal, water, electricity, steam and other public and auxiliary projects" to create "basic material supply and resource recycling"."Two platforms" form three major industrial systems: "extending and strengthening the chain, coal-based chemicals, and coal-free clean energy coupled with renewable energy", and establish three centers: "scientific and technological innovation, intelligent management, and talent gathering". The project started intensively and is expected to be fully completed by the end of 2027.
