Data released by the National Bureau of Statistics on July 15 showed that in June, the production of raw coal, crude oil, natural gas, and electricity in industries above designated size (hereinafter referred to as industries above designated size) grew steadily.

Raw coal production increased from decrease to increase. In June, the output of industrial raw coal above designated size was 410 million tons, a year-on-year increase of 3.6%. The growth rate turned from negative to positive, and fell by 0.8% in May; the average daily output was 13.513 million tons. Imported coal was 44.6 million tons, a year-on-year increase of 11.9%.

1-6 In March, industrial raw coal output above designated size was 2.27 billion tons, a year-on-year decrease of 1.7%. Imported coal was 250 million tons, a year-on-year increase of 12.5%.

The growth rate of crude oil production accelerated. In June, the output of industrial crude oil above designated size was 17.95 million tons, a year-on-year increase of 2.4%, and the growth rate was 1.8 percentage points faster than that in May; the average daily output was 598,000 tons. Imported crude oil was 46.45 million tons, a year-on-year decrease of 10.7%.

1-6 In March, industrial crude oil output above designated size was 107.05 million tons, a year-on-year increase of 1.9%. Imported crude oil was 275.48 million tons, a year-on-year decrease of 2.3%.

Crude oil processing declined. In June, the industrial crude oil processing volume above designated size was 58.32 million tons, a year-on-year decrease of 3.7%, and the decline was 1.9 percentage points larger than that in May; the average daily processing volume was 1.944 million tons. 1-6 In March, the industrial crude oil processing volume above designated size was 360.09 million tons, a year-on-year decrease of 0.4%.

Natural gas production is accelerating. In June, the output of industrial natural gas above designated size was 20.2 billion cubic meters, a year-on-year increase of 9.6%, and the growth rate was 3.3 percentage points faster than that in May; the average daily output was 670 million cubic meters. Imported natural gas was 10.43 million tons, a year-on-year increase of 0.9%.

1-6 In March, industrial natural gas output above designated size was 123.6 billion cubic meters, a year-on-year increase of 6.0%. Imported natural gas was 64.65 million tons, a year-on-year increase of 14.3%.

Industrial power production above designated standards remained stable. In June, the power generation of industrial above designated size was 768.5 billion kilowatt-hours, a year-on-year increase of 2.3%, and the growth rate was the same as in May; the average daily power generation of industrial above designated size was 25.62 billion kilowatt-hours. 1-6 In March, industrial power generation above designated size was 4.4354 billion kilowatt-hours, a year-on-year increase of 5.2%.
