Recently, the Nangang ethylene purchased light hydrocarbon raw materials supporting project prepared by Sinopec Innix (Tianjin) Petrochemical Co., Ltd. obtained sea approval from the Municipal Planning and Natural Resources Bureau, marking a significant progress in the sea area procedures of the project. This project is the first terminal project in Tianjin City to handle sea area procedures based on the three-dimensional hierarchical establishment of sea area use rights. It is of great significance to intensively conserve and utilize sea area resources and give full play to the benefits of marine resources.

    The Nangang Ethylene Purchased Light Hydrocarbon Raw Materials Supporting Project is a key project in Tianjin City, with a total investment of approximately 1.9 billion yuan. It will build a 50,000-ton liquefied hydrocarbon terminal, a 160,000 m3 low-temperature ethane tank and corresponding supporting facilities. After the project is completed and put into operation, it will mainly serve the Tianjin Nangang 1.2 million tons/year ethylene and downstream high-end new materials industry cluster project to meet the inbound and outbound transportation needs of raw materials and products after it is put into operation.
