On July 2, the Ministry of Ecology and Environment issued a reply letter on agreeing to the adjustment of the production quotas of hydrochlorofluorocarbons and hydrofluorocarbons in 2024 by 13 companies including Akema (Changshu) Fluorine Chemical Co., Ltd.

    Recently, our Ministry received an application for adjustment of the production quotas of hydrochlorofluorocarbons (HCFCs) and hydrofluorocarbons (HFCs) for 2024 submitted by your unit. According to the "Regulations on the Management of Ozone Depleting Substances" and relevant regulations on quota issuance and management, after review, the above quota adjustment application meets the relevant regulations and is now approved. See the annex for the quota adjustment.

    Your unit is requested to strictly abide by the "Regulations on the Management of Substances that Deplete the Ozone Layer" and relevant regulations of the Ministry of Ecology and Environment, organize production and operation activities in accordance with the adjusted quotas, and promptly report the production, sales and import and export of HCFCs and HFCs in 2024 to our Ministry.
