The project released its first environmental impact assessment announcement on March 26, with the specific contents as follows:

Technological transformation project: vinylidene fluoride polymer technological transformation project (for semiconductors);

Nature of construction: technological transformation;

Construction location: No. 9 Jin 'ao Avenue, Zekou Office, Qianjiang City, Hubei Province (Zekou Industrial Park, Qianjiang National High-tech Zone);

Project investment: 80 million yuan, including 2.41 million yuan for environmental protection;

Construction content: It is planned to carry out technical transformation based on the previous project and set up a new granulation workshop to make powder products into granular products; add by-product hydrochloric acid refining equipment to improve the quality of by-product hydrochloric acid; transform pure water equipment in the public works workshop; In addition, local fine-tuning of the production process will be carried out.

Product plan: Form 2 polyvinylidene fluoride polymer production lines, by-product hydrochloric acid refining production lines, and polyvinylidene fluoride pellet production lines. After reaching production capacity, the annual output will be 25,000 tons of vinylidene fluoride polymer, 9000 tons of polyvinylidene fluoride granules, and 145,889.61 tons of by-product hydrochloric acid and 6,978.6 tons of by-product sodium hypochlorite solution.

After the technical transformation is completed, the production capacity of the main product vinylidene fluoride polymer will remain unchanged.

    Hubei Funolin New Materials Co., Ltd. was invested and established by Zhejiang Funolin Chemical New Materials Co., Ltd. Zhejiang Funolin Chemical New Materials Co., Ltd. was established in November 2006 with a registered capital of US$9 million. Its business scope includes the production of vinylidene fluoride polymers, difluoromonochloroethane, vinylidene fluoride (intermediate product), 25 - 32% hydrochloric acid (by-product); sales of self-produced products, etc.

    The main product produced by this project is mainly used in binders for lithium batteries, separator coatings, solar cell backsheet films, water treatment films, and water-based fluorine coatings. The company will complete and put into operation a vinylidene fluoride polymer production line and supporting projects with an annual output of 25,000 tons (Phase I) in 2022.
