Shanghai Shenma Engineering Plastics Co., Ltd. is actively promoting its annual output of 60,000 tons of special nylon 66 slicing project, of which preparations for the first phase of production of 20,000 tons are in full swing. The company expects that the first phase of the project will officially start commissioning in early May. As the group's key scientific and technological innovation incubator, Shanghai Shenma Engineering Plastics Co., Ltd. further improves the entire nylon industry chain through this project, aiming to improve industrial efficiency through scale effects.

The company announced a capital increase of 51.824 million yuan in March 2022, and the funds will be mainly used to support the construction of this key project. It is reported that the total investment of the project is as high as 306.08 million yuan, and the planned construction period is 24 months. The site selection of the project is quite strategic and is close to the Invista hexamethylenediamine plant, thus achieving a convenient supply of the main raw material hexamethylenediamine.

Invidia's production line with an annual output of 215,000 tons of hexamethylenediamine in Shanghai Chemical Industry Zone has been successfully put into operation, and part of its production capacity will be supplied to Shenma Engineering Plastics Company. This move will not only help absorb Invidia's remaining hexamethylenediamine production capacity, but also has positive significance for Shenma Group to consolidate its leading position in China's nylon industry. At present, China's nylon 66 chip market has formed a three-pronged competitive pattern in which Invista, Shenma and other nylon 66 production companies stand out. The successful implementation of this project will help Shenma Group occupy a favorable position in this competition. Source: Masterbatch Industry Network
