Another provincial energy group was established. The Hunan Province Government Network announced that on March 27, the newly established Hunan Province Energy Investment Group Co., Ltd. was officially unveiled in Changsha.
Hunan Energy Group was established with the former Hunan Xiangtou Holding Group Co., Ltd. as the main body. The current installed power capacity of the company is 24.04 million kilowatts; the total mileage of provincial-level natural gas pipe networks has been invested and built exceeds 2000 kilometers; it has invested in new energy materials, advanced equipment, etc. Strategic emerging industries have invested and cultivated 6 national-level and provincial-level specialized and innovative "little giant" enterprises.
As a provincial-level platform for Hunan's comprehensive energy investment, construction and operation and the main body of Hunan's energy strategy implementation, Hunan Energy Group has a registered capital of 30 billion yuan. It undertakes the functional tasks of ensuring energy supply in the province, implements the province's energy resource development tasks, and undertakes major energy projects. Investment and construction represents Hunan Province in carrying out cooperation on major energy projects inside and outside the province.
Hunan Energy Group will build a modern energy industry cluster integrating energy planning and design, investment and construction, energy trading, equipment manufacturing, new materials, and comprehensive energy services. Strive to reach 120 billion yuan in assets by 2025, and hold 12 million kilowatts of installed power under operation and construction, accounting for more than 10% of the province's total installed power; by 2030, the asset scale will reach 200 billion yuan, and hold 22 million kilowatts of installed power, accounting for about 20% of the province.
