Recently, Inner Mongolia Junzheng Chemical Co., Ltd., built by the Fifth Branch of China Chemical Engineering sixth Construction Co., Ltd., has an annual output of 550000 tons of coke oven gas / calcium carbide furnace tail gas to methanol.
The project is located in the Industrial Park of Wuda Economic Development Zone, Wuhai City, Inner Mongolia. After completion, the project will become the national circular economy demonstration base, the circular economy demonstration enterprises in the autonomous region, the top 500 Chinese chemical enterprises and one of the 60 key enterprises in the autonomous region.
After the completion of the project, it will produce 550000 tons of methanol and 184 million m3 of hydrogen per year.
Methanol project is the first phase project of Inner Mongolia Junzheng Chemical Co., Ltd. with an annual output of 2 × 600000 tons of BDO and 2 × 1 million tons of PBAT, PBS, PBT and PTMEG. After completion, it is conducive to the coupling development of Wuhai coking industry and calcium carbide industry, realize the transfer from low added value to high added value, and promote the extension of the industrial chain downstream. On August 26, 2022, the project began.
Inner Mongolia Junzheng Energy and Chemical Group Co., Ltd. now has a relatively complete integrated industrial structure of "coal-electricity-chlor-alkali chemical industry" and "coal-electricity-characteristic metallurgy" in China, realizing the efficient transformation of resources and energy in place. The company's business involves power generation, limestone mining, quicklime firing, calcium carbide production, caustic soda preparation, acetylene polyvinyl chloride preparation, ferrosilicon smelting and other links, the main products include polyvinyl chloride resin, caustic soda, calcium carbide, ferrosilicon, cement clinker and so on.
On October 15, 2023, Inner Mongolia Junzheng Chemical Co., Ltd. produced 550000 tons of coke oven gas / calcium carbide furnace tail gas to methanol comprehensive utilization project installation project 35 kV distribution room received (sent) electricity successfully.
On January 5, 2024, the comprehensive utilization project of methanol from coke oven gas / calcium carbide furnace tail gas of Inner Mongolia Junzheng Chemical Co., Ltd., undertaken by Sinochem No. 6 Construction Fifth Branch, was successfully put into operation.
