"3, 2, 1, all preparations before starting the polymerization device!" At 20 o'clock on March 23, in the control room of Zhongtai Petrochemical Polymerization Center, as the start button was pressed down, the monomer polymerization device of the first phase of the 250,000-ton polyester staple fiber project was put into trial running. As of 18:00 on March 24, the project's monomer polymerization unit produced polyester melt, and the unit was running smoothly.
The polyester project is located in Shangku Petroleum and Petrochemical Industrial Park, Korla City, Bayingoleng Mongolian Autonomous Prefecture. The polymerization device adopts the proprietary process technology of China Kunlun Engineering Co., Ltd., and is the first set of integrated production equipment from purified terephthalic acid (PTA)-polyester-polyester staple fiber in Northwest China. The commissioning of the staple fiber device will achieve differentiated and customized production of products, meet customers 'needs for different functional fibers, radiate to surrounding markets, and accelerate the high-quality development of Xinjiang's textile and garment industry clusters.
This used to be the vast mountains and rivers of Gobi, but now it is a polyester fiber production base with roaring machines and endless day and night. Here, Zhongtai Petrochemical implements the development strategy of extending and strengthening the chemical fiber industry.
