On March 20, the signing ceremony for the Indonesian CAA-1 annual output of 420,000 tons of caustic soda/500,000 tons of dichloroethane (EDC) project undertaken by Chengda Company under the EPC general contracting model was successfully held at the headquarters of Bali Group in Indonesia. Agus, General Manager of Balido Group, Erwin, General Manager of Chandra Company, and Liu Yiheng, Secretary of the Party Committee and Chairman of Chengda Company, attended the signing ceremony.
This project is another major breakthrough for Chengda Company in the traditional Indonesian market. It is also the first large-scale caustic soda +EDC composite project undertaken overseas by a Chinese engineering company. It has achieved a new breakthrough for Chengda Company's overseas products and is also an active implementation of Chengda Company. Another major measure to implement the national "Belt and Road" initiative. After the project is completed, it will become the largest single-line caustic soda unit in the world and the largest high-low temperature oxychlorination EDC unit in Southeast Asia, fully demonstrating Chengda's leading position in the chlor-alkali engineering market outside China.
