Recently, the Qinzhou Port Area of the China (Guangxi) Pilot Free Trade Zone issued an announcement to publicize the proposed approval opinions of the "Environmental Impact Report of the HOPENE Project of Guangxi Huayi Energy and Chemical Co., Ltd."

It is understood that the HOPENE project of Guangxi Huayi Energy and Chemical Co., Ltd. plans to build polyolefin pilot equipment and supporting facilities in the Qinzhou Port Economic and Technological Development Zone, with a total investment of 178.55 million yuan, including an investment of approximately 2.2 million yuan in environmental protection facilities. The project is part of Huayi Qinzhou Chemical New Materials Integration Base and aims to produce methanol, acetic acid, ethylene glycol and other chemical products. Huayi Qinzhou Chemical New Materials Integration Base also includes the second and third phases of projects, with a total investment of approximately 55 billion yuan.
