Recently, Zhongke Xincai signed a strategic investment agreement with Sumida Capital, a joint-stock company. Both parties agreed to be optimistic about the market growth brought about by the implementation of the "Prohibition and Restriction of Plastics" regulations in Henan Province, and will accelerate the implementation of degradable raw material projects and downstream products. Coverage in prefecture-level cities.
According to the agreement, Zhongke Xincai and Sumida Capital will build a PBAT project with an annual output of 300,000 tons in Henan Luoxi Chemical Industry Park. The project has a total investment of 1.5 billion yuan and covers an area of 106 acres. It is expected to start in March 2024.
The technical party is Shanghai Juyou Chemical, a joint-stock company owned by Sumida. Shanghai Juyou Chemical has successfully created a one-step PBS/PBAT fully continuous degradation resin complete set of technology, realizing the localization of the PBS/PBAT project. Currently, patented technology and patented equipment lead the world in the market share of degradable plastic PBAT projects. At present, the project has complete design, safety evaluation, environmental impact assessment, and energy evaluation procedures. It is expected to be put into production by the end of the year, and the annual output value will exceed 4 billion yuan.
Since the official implementation of the "Regulations of Henan Province on Prohibitions and Restrictions of Non-degradable Disposable Plastic Products" on January 1, 2024, the market for "prohibiting and restricting plastics" substitutes in Henan Province has ushered in a new round of steady growth.
As the largest leading new technology enterprise in the degradable plastics industry in Henan Province, Zhongke New Materials has built a product project with an annual output of 200,000 tons in Licheng District, Luohe City. In order to further promote the sustainable and healthy development of the degradable plastics industry and build a more orderly degradable market, Zhongke New Materials has created "one association, two centers" and embarked on a new development model. nbsp; Source: Institute of Biodegradable Materials
