On February 23, Dawn shares said on the investor interactive platform that the Shandong Dawn Polymer Materials Southwest headquarters Base Project (Phase I) and the 120000 tons / year fully biodegradable plastic PBAT Project (Phase I) are expected to be gradually put into production in February 24, and the parent company's new material expansion project in the east factory area is under construction and will release production capacity one after another. After the company's new project reached production, the production capacity of high-performance thermoplastic elastomer (TPV) leapt to the second in the world, and the production capacity of modified plastics ranked second in the country.

Construction content: PBAT polymerization framework, THF recovery and installation area, substation / MCC room, frozen water / air nitrogen pressing station, central control room, analytical laboratory, warehouse, tank area, loading and unloading station, heat medium station, waste gas treatment facility, sewage treatment station, initial Rain Water pool, accident pool, etc.
Production scale: PBAT capacity of 60, 000 tons / year in the first phase and 60, 000 tons / year in the second phase; by-product THF purification and recovery of 6600 tons / year in the first phase and 6600 tons / year in the second phase
Area: the project covers an area of 133340 square meters and a construction area of 19217.94 square meters.
Project investment: the total investment of the project is 660 million yuan, including 446.9533 million yuan for the first phase of the project and 203.0467 million yuan for the second phase.
Dawn shares was announced in 2021 to join the ranks of PBAT aggregation. In the downstream of PBAT, Dawn also laid out downstream modification and product projects. As early as 2020, Dawn began to develop materials such as PLA foamed sheet, PLA/PBAT film modified material, starch filled biodegradable film modified material, PE based starch filled masterbatch, biodegradable blister / injection molding / 3D printing materials.
On January 17,2021, Dawn Co., Ltd. cooperated with China Textile Institute to invest in the construction of a biodegradable resin (PBAT) project with an annual output of 120000 tons, of which the first phase invested in the construction of a 60, 000-ton continuous polymerization plant with a construction period of 15 months.
In March 2022, Dawn Co., Ltd. established Dawn Zhou's (Qingdao) Environmental Protection New Materials Co., Ltd., which plans to invest 500 million yuan in the construction of biodegradable materials project, which is divided into two phases. it mainly produces food and beverage products such as biodegradable raw material particles, flexible packaging products, biodegradable straws, knives, forks and spoons, lunch boxes and plates. In this way, Dawn has opened up a dragon-wide industry chain in the field of biomaterials research and development, manufacturing and packaging.
In April 2021, Dawn Co., Ltd. established two new companies-Shandong Dawn degradable Materials Co., Ltd., and Shandong Dawn Zhou plastic Packaging Co., Ltd.-the former produces PBAT raw materials, the latter produces packaging and other products.
On the morning of June 14, 2022, the Longkou sub-venue activity of the city's key projects was held at the site of the Dawn Polymer New Materials Project.
In the upper reaches of PBAT, Dawn also laid out the BDO project. On July 25, 2022, in Aksu Investment Promotion Service Center in Xinjiang, Dawn Group successfully signed a contract with Shaya County to produce 100000 tons of BDO. Dawn Group plans to invest 200000 tons of 1mine4-butanediol (BDO) and 100000 tons of spandex in Shaya County, which inherits superior resources such as natural gas and connects with new fields such as biodegradable plastics, high-end textiles and clothing. The project will be completed in two phases, and the 100000 ton 1BI 4-butanediol (BDO) project signed this time belongs to the first phase of the project.
