Brazilian statistics show that oil and gas production breaks record in 2023

  Recently, the Brazilian Statistics Department announced that in 2023, Brazil's average daily oil and gas production will reach 4.344 million barrels, a year-on-year increase of 11.69%, exceeding 4 million barrels per day for the first time in history.
  Specifically, the output of crude oil under salt reached 3.304 million barrels per day, accounting for 75.18% of Brazil's and China's output. Crude oil output increased by 12.57% year-on-year. Natural gas output was 150 million cubic meters per day, a year-on-year increase of 8.7%.
  In December last year, Brazil's oil and natural gas output reached 4.57 million barrels per day, of which oil output was 3.585 million barrels per day, down 2.5% month-on-month; natural gas output was 160 million cubic meters per day, down 3.4% month-on-month. In December last year, Brazil's 150 sub-salt oil fields produced 2.742 million barrels per day of crude oil and 120 million cubic meters per day of natural gas production. Total oil and natural gas production was 3.487 million barrels per day, a month-on-month decrease of 2.7%, accounting for 76.3% of Brazil's oil and natural gas production.
