Wanhua Chemical issued an announcement stating that Wanhua Chemical (Fujian) Isocyanate Co., Ltd.(hereinafter referred to as "Wanhua Fujian Isocyanate"), a holding subsidiary of the company, plans to increase the production capacity of the MDI device from 400,000 tons per year through technical transformation based on the existing MDI device. Expand to 800,000 tons per year.
Recently, Wanhua Fujian Isocyanate received the "Approval Opinions on the Environmental Impact Report of the 800,000-ton/year MDI Technical Transformation and Capacity Expansion Project of Wanhua Chemical (Fujian) Isocyanate Co., Ltd." from Fuzhou City Ecological Environment Bureau (Rong EIA [2024] No. 3), agreeing that Wanhua Fujian Isocyanate should be constructed in accordance with the construction project location, nature, scale and environmental protection countermeasures listed in the project report.
