Recently, the Huafeng degradable new material project located in Huafeng (Qidong) Industrial Park has completed company registration and feasibility study preparation, and preliminary work on relevant pilot projects has started.
It is reported that on the afternoon of March 18, 2020, the signing ceremony of the Huafeng degradable new material integration project with a total investment of 10 billion yuan was held in Nantong City, Jiangsu Province. Under the joint witness of Wang Hui, Mayor of Nantong City, Wang Xiaobin, Secretary of Qidong Municipal Party Committee, You Xiaoping, Chairman of Huafeng Group, You Feiyu and other government and enterprise leaders, Huafeng Group Co., Ltd. signed a cooperation agreement with the Qidong City government.
This degradable new material integration project is a redistribution of Huafeng Group's new material industry strategy of "base, integration, recycling, and cleaning", including an annual output of 300,000 tons of polyadipic acid/butylene terephthalate (PBAT), 300,000 tons of polycaprolactone carbonate (PCHC) and related basic raw materials, logistics and warehousing supporting projects.
The project is settled in the Qidong base of Huafeng Group, which covers an area of 3 square kilometers, located in the New Materials Industrial Park of Lvsigang Economic Development Zone, Qidong City, Jiangsu Province. The base mainly invests in microfiber integrated projects and degradable new material integrated projects. Since the launch of the microfiber integrated project in 2014, the microfiber production capacity has reached 100 million meters.
It is understood that the first draft of the feasibility study report preparation and various energy evaluation, environmental assessment, safety evaluation and other reports for Ruixun Biotech PTMEG production project, which is the first phase project of Qidong Huafeng New Materials Industrial Park, have been completed, and the process design has also been completed.
