The website of the Ningdong Energy and Chemical Industry Base Management Committee announced that recently, the 300,000-ton/year MDI separation device of Wanhua Chemical (Ningxia) Co., Ltd. successfully produced qualified products, achieving a successful start.

The 300,000-ton MDI separation project of Wanhua Chemical (Ningxia) Company is the second batch of major projects to be started at Ningdong Base in 2022, covering a total area of 236 acres. The project uses separation and rectification process and builds separation towers, rectification towers, tank farms, etc. Production equipment and supporting auxiliary facilities officially started in August 2022, taking more than 300 days to build a world-class MDI separation device.

The smooth start-up of the 300,000-ton/year MDI separation unit of Wanhua Chemical (Ningxia) Co., Ltd. is a new starting point for Ningdong Base to accelerate the construction of "China Spandex Valley". Ningdong Base will rely on resource advantages and industrial foundation to accelerate the promotion of the Spandex industry.
