On July 24, the Hainan Province Department of Industry and Information Technology issued the "Announcement on Identifying the Chemical Zone of Yangpu Economic Development Zone and the Chemical Concentration Zone of Dongfang Lingang Industrial Park as Chemical Parks."
The "Announcement" shows that in order to further standardize the construction of chemical parks in our province, improve the level of safe development and green development of parks in our province, and promote the high-quality development of the chemical industry, especially the petrochemical industry in our province, according to the "Chemical Park Construction Standards and Identification Management Measures (Trial)" issued by six ministries and commissions including the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology, our department organized a third-party evaluation agency (Petroleum and Chemical Industry Planning Institute) to conduct an identification review of Yangpu and Dongfang parks. Based on the on-site identification, it is proposed to identify the Chemical Zone of Yangpu Economic Development Zone and the Chemical Concentration Zone of Dongfang Lingang Industrial Park as chemical parks.
