On July 17, the sulfuric acid market in Fujian increased slightly. Up to now, 98% of smelting acid in Fujian is around 110-230 yuan/ton. The demand for caprolactam and phosphate fertilizer in the downstream of the zone is still acceptable. Coupled with the low inventory of the two major acid factories in the zone in the early stage, the acid price was increased by 30 yuan/ton over the weekend. Driven by the recent launch of phosphate fertilizer demand, the main acid factories in Jiangxi in the periphery have limited shipments to Fujian. The supply of the two major acid factories in the region is stable and the short-term supply is relatively stable. However, due to low prices in the export market, downstream demand for fluorine chemicals, white carbon black, etc. is relatively sluggish, and most of them just need to purchase. It is expected that there is limited room for acid prices to continue to rise in the future.
