March 2024 China Urea Import and Export Data
According to customs data, in March 2024, China's urea exports were 420 tons, a decrease of 11,550 tons compared to the same period last year, down 96.48% year-over-year; a decrease of 330 tons from the previous month, down 44.07% month-over-month; the average export price for the month was $278.92 per ton. From January to March 2024, the total cumulative export volume was 2,570 tons, down by 501,200 tons compared to the same period last year, a decrease of 95.13%.
According to customs data, in March 2024, China's urea imports were 375.23 tons, an increase of 366.57 tons compared to the same period last year, up 4232.96% year-over-year; an increase of 354.07 tons from the previous month, up 1672.65% month-over-month; the average import price for the month was $1096.07 per ton. From January to March 2024, the total cumulative import volume was 3,676.52 tons, an increase of 1,640.63 tons compared to last year, up 80.59%.
In March 2024, the countries to which China exported urea were: Hong Kong, South Korea, and the United Arab Emirates, accounting for 58%, 41%, and 1% of the total export volume, respectively.
