The average export price for the month was $527.76 per ton. From January to September 2023, the cumulative total of MAP exports reached 1,536,600 tons, an increase of 35,900 tons compared to the previous year, representing a year-on-year growth of 2.39%.
According to customs data, in September 2023, China's imports of MAP amounted to 150 kilograms, with an average import price for the month at $7.34 per ton. The cumulative total of MAP imports for the period from January to September 2023 reached approximately 401 kilograms, an increase of 399.48 kilograms compared to the previous year, indicating a remarkable year-on-year increase of 26,455.63%.
The top six countries receiving China's MAP exports in September 2023 were Brazil, Argentina, Thailand, Indonesia, India, and Paraguay, accounting for 24%, 12%, 11%, 6%, 6%, and 6% of the total export volume, respectively.
Diammonium Phosphate (DAP):
According to customs data, in September 2023, China's exports of diammonium phosphate (DAP) amounted to 362,200 tons, marking a 22.80% year-on-year decrease and a 10.06% increase compared to the previous month. The average export price for the month was $474.33 per ton. From January to September 2023, the cumulative total of DAP exports reached 3,612,300 tons, an increase of 990,100 tons compared to the previous year, representing a significant year-on-year growth of 37.76%.
According to customs data, in September 2023, China's imports of DAP amounted to 280 kilograms, indicating a remarkable year-on-year increase of 27,900.00%. The average import price for the month was $39,720.85 per ton. The cumulative total of DAP imports for the period from January to September 2023 amounted to approximately 24.83 kilograms, a decrease of 302.84 kilograms compared to the previous year, resulting in a substantial year-on-year decline of 92.42%.
In August 2023, the top seven countries receiving China's DAP exports were India, Vietnam, Thailand, Bangladesh, New Zealand, Pakistan, and the Philippines, accounting for 33%, 17%, 14%, 13%, 9%, 3%, and 3% of the total export volume, respectively.
