According to customs data, in April 2024, China's urea exports were 5,200 tons, an increase of 0.10 from the previous month and a month-on-month increase of 23.31%; a decrease of 7.06 from the same period last year, a year-on-year decrease of 93.15%; the average export price this month was US$296.71/ton. The cumulative total export volume from January to April 2024 was 30,900 tons, a decrease of 571,800 tons from the same period last year and a year-on-year decrease of 94.88%.
According to customs data, in April 2024, China's urea imports were 47.92 tons, a decrease of 327.32 from the previous month and a month-on-month decrease of 87.23%; an increase of 29.83 compared with the same period last year, a year-on-year increase of 164.89%; the average import price this month was US$5,713.85/ton. The cumulative total import volume from January to April 2024 was 3,724.44 tons, an increase of 1,670.46 tons from last year and a year-on-year increase of 81.33%.
In April 2024, China's urea exporting countries include: China Hong Kong and Myanmar, accounting for 52% and 48% of the total exports respectively.
