The "Green Transportation" Integrated Project of Photovoltaic Storage and Charging has been selected as a National Smart Photovoltaic Model Case.

Recently, the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology, the Ministry of Housing and Urban-Rural Development, the Ministry of Transport, the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Affairs, and the National Energy Administration jointly issued an announcement, releasing the list of typical cases of smart photovoltaics nationwide. The "Green Transportation" integrated project of photovoltaic power generation, energy storage, charging, and navigation by Xinzheng Hydropower Company under Sichuan Port Investment Group successfully made the list.

The "Green Transportation" integrated project of photovoltaic power generation, energy storage, charging, and navigation by Xinzheng Hydropower Company is Sichuan Port Investment Group's first comprehensive green energy demonstration project that integrates "photovoltaic power generation, energy storage, and smart charging." It is also a practical application of the integration of "transportation + energy." The project utilizes the land and rooftop resources of the hub's right bank, ship lock, and office area garage for comprehensive development, adopting the "self-use, surplus electricity fed to the grid" model. It includes the construction of a distributed photovoltaic power station with an installed capacity of 941 kilowatts, a new energy vehicle charging station with a charging capacity of 840 kilowatts, and an energy storage system with a capacity of 215 kilowatt-hours. Additionally, shore power facilities are reserved at the ship lock, providing expandable interfaces for charging new energy cargo ships. Over the past year of operation, the project has achieved 1.02 million kilowatt-hours of photovoltaic grid connection, reduced carbon emissions by 542 tons, achieved 62,200 kilowatt-hours of peak shaving and valley filling through energy storage, and served 24,800 new energy vehicles.

Next, Xinzheng Hydropower Company will anchor the national "dual carbon" strategic goals, systematically summarize the construction, operation, and innovation experiences of the project, continue to deepen the multi-scenario integration application of "transportation + energy," continuously optimize the green energy structure, enhance the utilization level of clean energy, and fully empower the construction of a strong transportation nation, injecting strong momentum into the green, low-carbon, and high-quality development of the regional economy and society.
